Snakes Alive!

Snakes were not part of the lesson plan today, but the tables were separated,
the children noticed and voila!

A new toy!

An old favorite!

Emily was the line leader of the day. She brought an Elmo, lift the flap book,
check mix and fig Newtons...a huge hit.

We also read "Small Pig" a story of a farmer and his very tidy wife who cleaned up the pig sty and caused the pig to leave the farm in search of mud. Here we are in our mud puddle getting very dirty. Today's opposite: Clean and dirty.

Puff the Magic Dragon!

Puff the Magic Dragon was today's story brought by Sam . He also brought yummy homemade cookies that his Daddy baked! Oh yeah, the book came with a CD and hear the girls are rocking out to Puff...not the original PP&M version, but groovy transcends generations.

Chapel Time with Pastor Steve

Today we went to the Sanctuary for Chapel Time with Pastor Steve. he read the story about the loaves and fishes and the importance of sharing. The children were amazingly well behaved.
We also sang, "He's got the Whole World in His Hands" and "This little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine!"

Intro to Lacross 101

Ann Sands is taking movement to a whole new level ! Today she dressed in all of her Lacrosse gear to show the children what it looked like and let them touch it.

Then they had a chance to scoop up the balls and carry them a distance before dumping them in a bucket.

And they're off....!
